As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many social service agencies are suspending services to clients. Despite closing its offices on March 17, 2020, Kamloops & District Elizabeth Fry, is still offering many services by telephone or video conference. We recognize that during this uncertain time and through the need for our community to self-isolate that low-income women and their families may require additional supplies such as diapers, formula or food hampers. Furthermore, women in conflict or experiencing abuse are at a higher risk during social isolation. To reduce barriers our women's housing support would like to expand our normal services to offer these supplies.
