The Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program was launched in 2009 to offer girls, boys, teens, and adults with physical, emotional, and/or neurodevelopmental challenges (including ASD, FASD, Down Syndrome, ADHD and more!) an opportunity to play the game they love...HOCKEY.
We are currently in our 14th season of play with three (3) teams.
The Kawartha Komets are governed by a Board of Directors and we are members of Canadian National Special Hockey.
