To support front line artists in this unprecedented time, and to foster reflections on that time from our musical community, Little Chamber Music has created the Isolation Commissions. If you are in a position to help us support the musical artists who have helped create Little Chamber's amazing events, please consider an Isolation Commission.

For $200, you get to choose an artist who will film a 4min video of themselves performing at home, something that reflects the impact our extraordinary social situation is having on their artistic practice. It might be an improvisation, a favourite piece, a work that brings comfort, a work in progress....that's up to the artist.

Little Chamber Music will absorb the small fees that CanadaHelps deducts and the e-transfer fee, so 100% of your $200 will go directly to a working musician that is facing very uncertain times. You will also receive a tax receipt from CanadaHelps.

You can choose an artist you've seen at a Little Chamber event (we've worked with people who play every instrument, in virtually every style), or we can approach an artist you love (we're happy to make new connections!), or you can tell us your favourite instrument or style and we'll match you with someone from our artistic community. We've also worked with many amazing dancers, choreographers, actors, a puppet maker and a cartoonist, this is a commission for any artist and art form.
