RISE Support Centre (RISE) is a place of help, hope and healing to all individuals experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, challenges during pregnancy and early parenting or struggling emotionally after losing a child to miscarriage, adoption, or abortion.
Established in 1991, as a Christian, non-profit, non-political resource and support centre, RISE has become a trusted resource in the Markham-Stouffville-Richmond Hill area.
RISE provides respectful, compassionate, and confidential support.
All services are free and offered without regard to age, race, colour, nationality, religious affiliation, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, income or other arbitrary circumstance.
Services & Programs Offered: Pregnancy tests, Pregnancy Options Information and Decision-making Support, Prenatal Support, Parenting education & Support, weekly Moms and Tots groups, Material Assistance Programs (essential baby items), Post Abortion support, Community education and equipping, Emotional support after pregnancy loss.
Referrals Provided For: Adoption, community support services, spiritual support, professional support.
