The Michener Institute of Education at UHN is Canada’s only post-secondary school dedicated exclusively to applied health sciences. As part of the University Health Network, Michener plays a critical role in strengthening health care across Ontario and beyond by training the next generation of health professionals. Founded in 1958 and located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Michener offers a uniquely integrated model of classroom theory, hands-on lab instruction, and clinical education. Renowned across Canada and internationally, Michener prepares learners to meet the growing and complex demands of our health system. We serve over 800 full-time students and 4,000 continuing education learners across more than 30 programs — with new offerings continually developed in response to the evolving needs of health care in Canada.
