About THE MINISTRY TO SEAFARERS OF THE CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH
The Ministry to Seafarers of the Christian Reformed Church is an outreach to the seafarers who work on the ships that dock in the Port of Montreal.
It is our greatest hope that we can show and share the love of Christ to the men and women we serve by coming alongside and offering physical, emotional and spiritual care in any way we can.
We are housed in Mariners' House of Montreal which shares our goal of supporting and caring for seafarers. The centre, located in the Old Port of Montreal, is a place we hope seafarers will call "a home away from home". We offer free transportation to the centre and at the centre we offer free WiFi, pool, ping-pong, Foosball and air-hockey, computers, phone services, drinks & snacks, souvenirs and toiletries.
We are excited to be able to serve these wonderful people who work hard to bring 90% of the world's goods to each and every one of us.
"Spending of funds is confined to The Ministry to Seafarers of the CRC (M2S) approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by M2S, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.”
