Our Mission
The Montessori School of Cambridge, guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, is dedicated to providing a child-centred environment that inspires children (Toddlers, Preschool, JK, SK) to reach their full potential academically, emotionally and socially. The child's education is nurtured in a school community that promotes independence, self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation and respect for others. Within the framework of learning and the working partnership of the child, parent and teacher, a love of learning is fostered and an "education for life" is offered.

The Montessori School of Cambridge was established in 1972 and offers a variety of classes for Toddlers, Preschool, JK, SK.
Improved facilities would certainly complement the quality of our teachers, curriculum and learning materials and allow for growth.
Montessori education is based on the work of Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori, whose research in the first half of the twentieth century gave birth to an innovative educational system that has grown worldwide. In January 2007, there was an international celebration of the centenary of her first class in Rome. Dr. Montessori developed a philosophy based on the natural development of children and their intrinsic desire to explore, discover and learn from the world around them.
