Our Mission
Established in 2012, the Montreal Community Cares Foundation celebrates and promotes community engagement as well as actively supports the development of youth across the Greater Montreal Area. Through our programs, we leverage a sports and human rights approach to empower and help youth become engaged citizens and leaders in their homes, schools and communities.

The Montreal Community Cares Awards promote active involvement in our city by honouring the achievements of a broad cross-section of worthy recipients. Our goal is to bring together the many linguistic, ethnic and cultural groups that make up the Greater Montreal Area to celebrate their unsung community champions at a formal gala. Categories include youth leader, community leader, student-athlete, community or charitable organization, and small/medium enterprise. The recipients of the student-athlete award also receive scholarships
