During the past few months, we’ve come to appreciate more than ever the importance of nature in our lives. Fresh air, clean water and places to renew our spirits are just some of nature’s many gifts. Yet, we are losing nature, large and small species, at an alarming rate. The single biggest reason is habitat loss.
We are launching our Together for Nature Campaign with a goal to raise $200,000 by October 7.
We are very grateful to the Grayross Foundation and Ron and Diane Anderson for pledging their support to match the first $50,000 in donations. We hope you will join them and help us reach our goal.
Here are three priority projects that your gift will help us deliver:
#1 Save endangered grasslands in the Similkameen for the rare Lewis’ Woodpeckers and Williamson’s Sapsuckers.
#2 Protect forests and fish habitat on Vancouver Island for Roosevelt elk and all five types of Pacific Salmon.
#3 Inspire and train the next generation of conservation professionals through our Conservation Youth Crew Program to help restore places for species to live.
