Our purpose is to provide street children and children from the favelas of Rio Doce, Olinda, Brazil, a place to learn basic literacy, life and income generating skills.

Our purpose is to provide street children and children from the favelas of Rio Doce, Olinda, Brazil, a place to learn basic literacy, life and income generating skills. They will, therefore, have an opportunity to leave the streets or the favela and to enter public school. The AMO housing project provides simple brick houses for the needy children’s families.
