Other Guise is a Vancouver Island based theatre company committed to developing theatrical presentations that reflect the history and culture of our local communities. We aim to serve audiences across municipalities, and support the livelihoods of both island professionals and emerging artists.
We have developed 716 Johnson Street into an arts hub in downtown Victoria. This space is a hub for performing arts where new work is developed and performed. Early career artists work alongside seasoned professionals and small and medium-sized productions are presented year-round. 716 also is a hub for education with drama camps, workshops and other educational opportunities for everyone from youth to professionals. The venue is available for community events, such as fundraisers or celebrations.
