Children & Youth Pursuing Excellence
Pacific Voices - a Family of Choirs (formerly known as PMCC) of Abbotsford, British Columbia, is an auditioned, faith-based community choir open to interested singers ages 5 and up. For the past thirty years, Pacific Voices has exemplified the best in choral tradition, discipline and dedication. The Pacific Voices Society, its board, Artistic Directors and entire staff are committed to training and motivating children to pursue musical excellence, thereby glorifying God and inspiring joy in the hearts of singers and listeners alike.
About PACIFIC VOICES - A Family of Choirs
Under the direction of its Artistic Directors, Pacific Voices encourages singers of all ages to grow in musical excellence, faith and community service. The choir is governed by an enormously capable board of directors. Parent and community volunteers are an important part of the Pacific Voices family.
The Pacific Voices Society relies on gifts and donations to meet its musical mission. The Society encourages individuals and organizations to invest in the lives of children and youth allowing Pacific Voices to continue influencing character development and stimulating interest in musical excellence.
The choir performs two ticket concerts per season; one during the Christmas season and the second in the Spring. In addition Pacific Voices performs regularly as guests at a variety of festivals, events and community locations. Pacific Voices has showcased its choir outside of Canada, most recently at the World Choir Games in New Zealand. The choir has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and in Riva Del Garda.
