About The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford
The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford is a not-for-profit organization and a registered charity housed in a beautiful 20,000 square foot LEED certified facility that opened in September 2008. As both a community museum and a contemporary art gallery, it has established itself as a center for curatorial excellence and engaging public programming in the Fraser Valley.
The Reach welcomes approximately 25,000 visitors to a range of exhibitions, events, and programs each year. Admission is by donation so come often to see what's new! Our primary audience is the 150,000+ residents of Abbotsford, with a broader, secondary audience from BC’s Lower Mainland. The Reach also welcomes visitors from across the country and around the world and has become a popular destination for tourists in Abbotsford.
Today, Abbotsford is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada and The Reach is positioned to grow and evolve along with it. As it enters its second decade, The Reach aspires to be the anchor of cultural activity in the community, to bring people together to have enriching cultural experiences, to build community through the exchange of ideas, and to serve the public through excellence in programming.
