The Roland Gossage Foundation
The Roland Gossage Foundation is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, reservists, and their families. Our work centres on building strong, forward-focused programs that open doors to new careers, creative pathways, and community connections. Programming and community engagement are the foundation of our mission, and we continue to invest in practical, integrated solutions that support military families across the country. With CEO Roland Gossage’s military background and deep experience in technology and business, the foundation develops initiatives that are innovative, relevant, and positioned for long-term success.
Soldiers in Tech
Soldiers in Tech provides veterans, reservists, and military spouses with access to industry-aligned training in cybersecurity, web development, AI, and related technology fields. Working with leading partners such as WatSPEED, ComIT, Fast Forward Coaching, Wilder Path, and Next Steps Certification Training Centre, the program offers flexible courses, career-readiness support, and direct pathways to employment. Through these partnerships, participants gain the technical skills, professional confidence, and employer connections needed to build sustainable careers in Canada’s growing tech sector.
Soldiers in the Arts
Soldiers in the Arts offers veterans and their families opportunities to explore theatre, film, and creative expression alongside accomplished Canadian artists and industry professionals. Workshops, productions, and collaborative projects introduce participants to acting, writing, movement, clown, photography, and film production. The program supports artistic growth, builds confidence, and expands professional possibilities—reflecting the foundation’s commitment to nurturing modern veteran creators and strengthening their presence across Canada’s arts and culture landscape.
