"Operation Christmas Cheer"- bringing holiday cheer and creating new memories for people that lost their homes in the devastating May 15th Wildfires that hit Slave Lake and MD 124.
About THE SLAVE LAKE NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE SOCIETY
Various community groups in Slave Lake have come together to try and bring Holiday cheer to residents in the region that lost their Christmas memories in the May 15th wildfires.
"Operation Christmas Cheer" the goal is to provide a Christmas tree and holiday gift bag to each family/ resident in the region that lost their home to the devastating wildfires. We need your help to raise enough funds to purchase 300 pre-lit artificial Christmas trees. All the money that is donated will go directly towards the purchase of trees with any left over’s going to Slave Lake and area Santa’s Anonymous.
