The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an International lay Catholic organization whose mission is: To live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. The Mission implies that as Vincentians, we see Christ in anyone who suffers, come together as a family, have personal contact with the poor and help in all possible ways.
The Vincentians at St. Francis Xavier Parish conduct home visits and provide grocery gift cards to our neighbors in need. We also support eith clothing vouchers and educational and transport funding. In addition we send some children to the Ozanam and Mary Grove summer camps for both boys and girls seperately. We do outreach programs during Easter / Back to School / Christmas and whenever else funding allows.
