We work collaboratively with other organizations to protect the historic and environmental character of Stony Lake, Ontario and adjacent areas.  Recent grants have helped to finance:

- repairs to the Pagoda, the historic steamboat passenger shelter on Juniper Island;

- acquiring and protecting undeveloped land on the north shore of Stony Lake, and the development of recreational trails on this land; 

- obtaining and analyzing core samples from the bed of Stony Lake with a view to understanding longer term changes in lake nutrients; and

- an ongoing annual program of water quality monitoring on Stony Lake.

We are funded exclusively by donations from the general public.   We would welcome your support.

Please consider naming the Foundation as a recipient of gifts made in memoriam of a loved one.   Please also consider directing that a gift to the Foundation be made pursuant to your Will.   It is up to all of us to protect the legacy of Stony Lake and adjacent areas for future generations.
