The Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba is a registered charity in Manitoba, incorporated in 1973, that is dedicated to supporting, assisting and encouraging stroke survivors to continue their rehabilitation, increase their confidence, independence, quality of life and aid in their transition back into society. It is our goal to provide programming to all who need it, not just the ones who can afford it.
Supporters of the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba can be assured that 100% of all proceeds of all events go directly towards increasing programming, updating equipment and providing more opportunities for stroke survivors to receive the support they need in their recovery.
Stroke survivors can experience a range of emotions when starting their new life as a stroke survivor and mental health often takes a back seat to physical therapy.
Social interaction including peer support, encouragement and motivation from other survivors that you can find at the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba goes a long way to improve the quality of life of all who come and participate.
