Our Mission
The Third Avenue supports and encourages parents and youngsters in their collective action confronting social exclusion. In this perspective, the Third Avenue promotes citizen initiatives aiming for greater social justice in public schools as well as taking innovative actions to fight poverty and exclusion.
This mission is reflected through the following objectives:
• Implement programmes from the popular education perspective
• Provide workshop animation, also training and consultation to other organization or individuals working in the same field.
• Prepare and disseminate educational texts as well as develop multimedia resources on the issues identified above.
Third Avenue is a non-profit organization founded since 1974.
