As a registered charity, The Toronto Scottish Regiment Foundation (The Foundation) supports the on-going work and programs of “The Toronto Scottish Regiment (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s Own)” (The Regiment), an Army Reserve Unit of the Canadian Forces.

 Funds raised cover a multitude of needs, including but not limited to: 

• Supporting soldiers and their families when deployed
• Looking after veterans interests and supporting them when in need
• Working with and developing youth through bursaries, scholarships, and training
• Maintaining regimental uniforms and accoutrements not supported by the government
• Collecting and preserving the history of the Regiment through a museum which is staffed by volunteers
• Providing assistance and support to community events and organizations
• Maintaining Regimental and Canadian heritage and traditions

The Foundation is at arm’s length (separate from the military chain) from the Regiment and officially does not report to any formal/informal body within the regimental family. It is governed by its membership benefactors, CRA and the various applicable Acts, Laws and regulations of Canada.
