For generations, Maligomish has been a place where Mi’kmaq families gather, reconnect, celebrate traditions, and strengthen community.
Saint Anne’s Mission Church, completed in 1897, the historic Glebe House, cemetery, and surrounding grounds are recognized as a Provincially Registered Heritage Property. Today, after more than 130 years, significant restoration is needed to protect these buildings and ensure Maligomish continues to welcome future generations.
The Historic Maligomish Church Preservation Fund was established to support this community-led restoration effort.
Your donation will help:
- Restore Saint Anne’s Mission Church
- Preserve the historic Glebe House
- Protect an important Mi’kmaw cultural and spiritual gathering place
- Support continued community use and long-term stewardship
Every gift helps preserve Maligomish as a place where culture, history, faith, and community continue to thrive.
Help carry this legacy forward for future generations.
