The Urban Haven Project finally has a charity number of its own as we enter our 4th year of service in 2019/2020 working out of the historic Beth Emanuel Church building, which was part of the Black Slave Underground Railway system. Nearly 200 years later, we continue to bring hope and dignity back to the forgotten among us in society....the marginalized, homeless, near-homeless and post-incarcerated. Through a number of self-improvement programs that tackle the issues of addiction, grief, worthiness and dignity, we provide education through our Art, Computer, 12-step and study programs to take people from the brink of despair to a life with hope.
What People Are Saying
"When no one provided help for the homeless to find a warm place to stay during the cold weather in London.....The Urban Haven Project came to the rescue!"
