EnChor is an auditioned SATB choir based in Vancouver, Canada directed by Morna Edmundson. The choir is the creation of the late Dr. Diane Loomer, C.M. She felt there was a largely untapped well of experienced singers who had reached their 55th birthday and were still  interested in performing high quality music. EnChor draws on the strong musical background and depth of experience of its members to produce programs which please music aficionados as well as provide entertainment for all. We give at least two public concerts a year, as well as perform by special arrangement at private functions, assisted living facilities and hospices.

Your charitable donations help fund EnChor’s Outreach Program, an initiative separate from our regular concert series, these funds help EnChor bring the joy of song to assist those in our community with special needs and to support other choral projects.

During the past few seasons we performed for the following groups or organizations:

•Callanish society in support of families affected by cancer

•Canuck Place Children’s Hospice Christmas tree lighting ceremony

•Crofton Manor & Hollyburn House retirement homes

•Children’s Wish Foundation “Flight to Find Santa” at Vancouver International Airport

•Vancouver Hospice Society

Outreach funds have also been used to:

•provide a $1,000 scholarship to a student in the Choral Conducting program at UBC
