The Winnipeg Children's Access Agency Inc. is committed to facilitating contact in a protected, impartial and child-focused environment between children and their parents and/or legal guardians where there has been evidence of interpersonal violence.

About THE WINNIPEG CHILDREN'S ACCESS AGENCY INC.

Since 1996, the Winnipeg Children's Access Agency, a non-profit, charitable organization, has facilitated contact between children and their parents and/or legal guardians where there has been evidence of interpersonal violence. We fulfill this by providing supervised parenting times and supervised exchanges within our protected, neutral, and child-focused facility.

We act as an independent body, and our primary goal is to ensure the protection and well-being of the children and their parents or legal guardians. Many of our clients are court-ordered to have supervised parenting time or exchanges, and WCAA provides a secure, protected and comfortable environment where these can occur. It is not our role to make assessments or judgments concerning whether a parent should or should not be supervised.

To ensure our independence, we will not become involved in negotiating access conditions between parties, providing counselling, acting as messengers, or mediating disputes. Instead, we refer the parties to their respective lawyers to address access concerns.
