About THE WOMEN'S CENTRE
The Women's Centre is a safe, compassionate place for women to learn, grow, and recognize their own strengths and abilities. Our "Women Supporting Women" model provides support, guidance, and encouragement to women for a wide range of issues including abuse, stress, loneliness, isolation, low-self esteem, or emotional difficulties.
Our services include peer counselling, culturally based counselling, employment programs, family law legal services, support groups and courses and workshops. Established in 1991, the Women’s Centre offers an array of programs and services to meet the needs of women of all ages, races, religion and sexual orientation.
