The Good Food Access Fund was created to help our organization provide emergency relief to our most vulnerable neighbours, including children, single parent families, Indigenous people, seniors, and those experiencing physical or mental health challenges.Our Family Centre and Community Food Centre have suspended all in person programming, including community meals and cooking programs, and are now focussing on ensuring community members can safely access food through take-away and delivered meal programs and enhanced access to produce and other supplies. Direct aid in the form of gift cards for groceries will be made available as resources allow. The fund will provide immediate support for our front line efforts to provide necessary food and supplies to those who need it most.
