In the spirit of the upcoming Christmas Holiday season, we invite you to help make our Run Santa Run! 2025 a record-breaking success for our students.
First held in 2010, this joyful event has become a beloved tradition that brings the Third Schools community together. This year, on December 3rd, over 250 of our students will dawn their Santa hats, led by staff and parents in full Santa suits, to walk and run a course to raise funds for Third Schools’ registered charity, Third Academy International Ltd.
Why We Run/Walk
Together, Third Academy, ursa, and LYNX provide essential, specialized education for over 1,500 students across Alberta and around the world. We offer families choice—whether school-based programs for students with special educational needs, home-based education, including parent-directed, shared responsibility, and distanced-based online/onsite, or our unique hybrid, nature-inspired education program with outdoor classrooms. Regardless of the program and specific mode of delivery, our vision remains the same: Student Success!
Funds raised through Run Santa Run! 2025 are earmarked entirely for our Third Schools Bursary Program. We believe our unique programs must be accessible to all who would benefit from them, irrespective of a family’s financial circumstances. With the increasing cost of living, the need for financial support for our families is greater and more urgent than ever.
