How?
It’s time to stop focusing on addiction, and start focusing on the people addiction is affecting.
Like cancer, addiction impacts families, friendships, and workplace. Many lives are touched by the devastation of addiction. Instead of betrayal and grief, what if addiction brings strength and love? As Daryn Kagan stated, “bad things do happen in the world, like war, natural disasters, disease. But out of those situations always arise stories of extraordinary things.” What if you can change a story of addiction and make it extraordinary?
At Thorpe Recovery Centre, we provide HOPE to over 600 adults each year who struggle with addiction through our Accredited services. Currently, our programming includes medically supported detoxification, residential addiction treatment for alcohol, drug, sex and gambling, and a family program. The family program gives a non-addicted individual a better understanding of the disease of addiction and how it changes the dynamics in the home and/or workplace.
