About TILLSONBURG & DISTRICT MULTI-SERVICE CENTRE

The Multi-Service Centre (519-842-9000) offers the following programs:

ADULT LITERACY & ESSENTIAL SKILLS (one to one; small groups; intro to computers)

EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (Employment Consulting; Employer Services; Youth Job Connection/Youth Job Connection Summer/Youth Job Link; Resource Centre)

HOME SUPPORT (Personal Support; Housekeeping; Meals on Wheels; Transportation; Assisted Living/Supportive Housing; Home at Last; Foot Care;).

HISTORY:

The MSC was formed by volunteers concerned over the lack of services in Tillsonburg. The agency began operations in 1978 in a building donated by Gerry Livingston. Programs were added over the years. The agency is now located in The Livingston Centre, a multi-partner building.

VOLUNTEERISM:

Every year around 200 volunteers provide @ 10,000 hours of service (tutoring, meals delivery, driving, fundraising, Governance) representing an investment of about $150,000.00 in the community!
