VISION & PURPOSE
- To advance education by providing books, equipment, educational aids, tuition, and literacy programs geared towards preventing gender inequality, for female students attending schools in developing nations, with a specific focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Walungu territory.
- To relieve poverty in developing nations by providing basic necessities of life, including food, clean water, clothing, and/or shelter to individuals or families in need, and assisting the local residents to develop their own programs/initiatives that foster self-empowerment and sufficiency (e.g. seed banks/exchanges) with a specific focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Walungu territory.
- To provide education, counselling and other support services for immigrants and refugees in need in the city of Winnipeg, including language instruction, employment training, job search programs, translation services and information programs on Canadian culture and life.
