Each year TAIS creates a call for submissions for Artist in Residence Program. TAIS has hosted many artists from emerging to established and we are proud of the works that have been made here.
Over the years with rising costs of rent and funding freezes, TAIS has had to decrease the duration and in turn funding that this program receives. Animation takes time, and donations help artists have more time, equipment support and studio space to create amazing animations.
With your help, we can offer more residencies, and in turn help artists create more!
Each Artist in Residence receives a payment of $2000.00 CAD for 5 weeks studio time at TAIS with equipment support to create a new animation.
