Our Mission
The Toronto Fringe is a platform for everyone to access, discover, and experiment with the arts. By valuing creative experiences, we contribute to a healthy arts economy, and ultimately a thriving society.
Primary Activities
- The Fringe Festival: Presenting 150 productions chosen by lottery at venues across the city, the Fringe attracts 50,000+ attendees and returns $400,000+ to participating artists
- The Next Stage Theatre Festival: Presenting 6 productions from the best Fringe companies across the world, NSTF is a showcase for emerging talent ready to be seen by new audiences and programmers
- Youth and Artist Outreach Activities: Our four outreach programs offer in-depth support to young audiences and emerging artists, promoting participation in theatre and probiding resources to professionalize independent artistic undertakings
