Antigonish Challenger Baseball and the Town of Antigonish are partnering together to make areas, where sport and recreation occur in the community, more accessible. Our team will work with the community to create a clearly defined list of projects that we would like to see completed in the years-to-come.
Together we will fundraise, plan and complete these projects so we can all play. This is planned as an annual undertaking of Antigonish Challenger Baseball and the Town of Antigonish.
This year, we will be fund raising to construction a concrete pathway down to the Sandlot Baseball Field. This will improve the ease of access to this space for people with accessibility needs. The total estimated cost of the project is $9,000, with the partners splitting the cost 50/50. Any money that is raised over and above the $9,000 will be earmarked for future accessibility projects.
