His Holiness The Dalai Lama's Central Tibetan Relief Committee had sent TRAS an urgent appeal for donations to help with their flood relief in the affected Tibetan Settlements in the state of Himachal Pradesh. While we are grateful that no casualties have been reported, the disaster has left many families in distress and has caused significant damage to homes and properties.
TRAS immediately sent funds to help pay for repairs and the strengthening of retaining walls. Donations toward this ongoing work would be welcome.
