Trickster Theatre creates community-based theatre productions through its residency programs. We also provide science and storytelling workshops where we use physical theatre, and create web-based tools to support the use of theatre as a teaching tool - including KIDS GO GLOBAL and Act2Learn. Trickster Theatre is based in Calgary, Alberta and has been operating for over 40 years. We tour across Alberta, creating approx. 50 original shows a year in all kinds of communities. We do week-long residencies in schools, transforming the gym into a theatre. We involve up to 600 actors and provide the lighting, sound, costumes, curtains and props. Audiences adore the shows because of their fun, improvisational nature, and audience interaction! We can set up a segregated account to support any project.
