More than 100 donkeys and mules have found their permanent, loving home at the Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge here in the Turtle Valley near Chase, BC. In total, these wonderful, gentle creatures eat over 5,000 bales of hay each year.  Because donkeys are desert creatures, the hay they require must be specially grown to suit their unique digestive system.

Did you know that for only $10 you can "purchase" a bale of hay for our donkeys?

For only $33.33 per month ($400 per year) you can feed one miniature donkey for a whole year.  For $45.83 per month ($550 per year) you can feed a standard donkey or a small mule for an entire year.  For $75.00 per month ($900 per year) you can feed a mammoth donkey or large mule for 365 days.

As a monthly donor, you become a "BrayVe Heart"  - a very special group of wonderful caring donors who help ensure that we will be able to rescue and care for donkeys and mules that have been abandoned, neglected or abused, or can no longer be properly cared for.
