Give the gift of learning and literacy to Ottawa's kids

Joie de livre! - French Books for Ottawa Kids (Fund #2):

The goal of Twice Upon A Time is to provide new or nearly new books to children to support early literacy skills and foster a love of reading through book ownership. 

In 2018, on Giving Tuesday (Nov   27) we launched our new 2019 appeal called Joie de livre! - French Books for Ottawa Kids! The campaign initiates our 2019 major project of building capacity to meet the demands for French language materials. Twenty-eight % of books chosen by children at our sites are in French. Much of the French language material donated is dated, of poor quality or not representative of our community. This means we must supplement French donations in order to offer adequate and appropriate material for the children who visit. By August 28, 2019 Twice Upon a Time had already raised more than $3,000 from loyal and new donors and supporting organizations, towards our goal of $4,000.

We live in a bilingual city and we want to share the richness of this bilingual experience with all children in our locations. Twice Upon a Time is excited to launch this project that will bring even more French books to Ottawa's kids.
