A few of Canada’s brightest creative minds are coming together to support UforChange. On November 21, 2018 at 7pm doors will open to a once-in-a-lifetime panel discussion with Barry Avrich (filmmaker and author), Vanessa Craft (Editor-in-Chief, ELLE Canada), Mikhael Kale (fashion designer) and G. Scott Paterson (technology venture capitalist), moderated by the one and only Sylvia Mantella (Chief Marketing Officer, Mantella Corporation). 4 creative powerhouses in their own right are sharing stories of their struggle, triumph, starting from nothing and stories of what it takes in an up close and personal panel discussion. The audience will be a diverse range of Toronto’s top influencers and mixed with emerging youth and artists who in their own way have a lot to contribute. Part of the goal for this event is to bring people together.

The proceeds of The Talk will support UforChange’s artistic programs for youth in the Greater Toronto Area. If you would like to support UforChange, but are unable to attend The Talk you may make a donation or sponsor a youth to attend this amazing event. For the 'Sponsor a Youth' ticket option please include your name and email when completing the purchase, and we will invite a youth on your behalf to attend the event!

About This Charity

UforChange works to ensure every young person confidently pursues a future rich with opportunity. UforChange seeks to achieve this goal through its Core Arts Program, offered to over 30 young people every year, along with a series of industry partnerships that lead to workshops and events, which empower another 350 youth every year. Since 2009, UforChange has served over 2459 youth from all over the Greater Toronto Area, graduated 612 from our Core Arts Program from which 323 joined post-secondary education, and to whom we offered 555 paid employment opportunities and 665 volunteer opportunities.
