St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox church has been making delicious homemade pies and perogies  for the community of Parksville and beyond for over 10 years.

This past year has been a difficult one for our humble parish. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have been unable to gather for services but also have not been to have our devoted pie and perogi making crew come together to make and sell our goods. These fundraisers are very important for the ongoing costs of keeping our church running as well as a way to connect with our community.

To continue serving the St. Mary's community, we have been offering virtual liturgy via Zoom as well as virtual house blessings, performed by our beloved interim priest, Fr. Roman Tsaplan. However, without our monthly fundraisers, we are missing an important piece. We hope that you can help us regain what we have been missing in these difficult times.

Until we can gather again for both prayer and food, we ask that you will continue to support St. Mary's through a virtual pie and perogi sale. Although you may not be able to taste our delicious wares, you will no doubt still get that warm fuzzy feeling our pies have been known to give when you either gift or receive one of our "virtual" treats. *No real food will be sent, just good feelings*
