After years of bitter conflict, Yemen is on the brink of humanitarian catastrophe.
Worsening violence has disrupted the lives of millions, resulting in widespread casualties and massive displacement. Over 2 million Yemenis have been forced to flee their homes and a staggering 22 million across the country are in need of humanitarian assistance.
Severe malnutrition, sustained conflict and a lack of humanitarian access have produced devastating effects. Without immediate help, even basic survival is at threat. The situation is so dire that almost 1 million displaced Yemenis have lost hope and attempted return back to threatening conditions.
Limited funding – currently at only 3 percent – restricts the UNHCR's capacity to provide life-saving relief. Without help, many more lives will be lost to violence, treatable illnesses or lack of food, water and shelter. Help us control the spread cholera and provide emergency aid by donating today.
Attention is required. Act now to provide a lifeline to Yemeni refugees.
