About Us
UpSkill Niagara, also known as the Niagara Women's Enterprise Centre (NWEC) supports and uplifts women into meaningful career and entrepreneurial pathways. We also offer wrap-around supports, such as holistic wellness activities and community referrals to ensure that individual women have the supports they need to thrive. With an emphasis on individualized career and learning plans, we offer a combination of flexible online and in-person services. Our mission is to provide women with essential, foundational tools to enhance skills and confidence to build sustainable, meaningful careers.
We offer a variety of flexible online training, such as Dietary Server, Small Business Support and Customer Service. Skills development, along with personalized supports allow women the flexibility to develop and pursue individualized career plans, including employment and entrepreneurship. Many of our graduates pursue post-secondary education, and we are very proud of the success of our graduates.
We are a small charity with a big heart and we are so grateful for your donation that directly impacts the lives of women in our community and beyond.
