Mission Statement

At Vancouver Hebrew Academy the administration, teachers, staff and students work together to create a warm and nurturing environment where each child can experience success.

We are dedicated to providing excellence in Judaic and General studies and committed to

the intellectual, social and spiritual development of all our students.

We aim to help each child become an independent, confi dent individual, empowered as a responsible and committed member of his or her Jewish community and community at large.

We are an Orthodox Jewish day school whose goal is to foster an atmosphere of respect for others and an understanding of the diversity of halacha (Jewish law) and customs within the Jewish community.

Vancouver Hebrew Academy is a

co-educational, Orthodox Jewish

elementary school for students in

Preschool through Grade 7.

We provide an exciting and stimulating

educational environment where

children are inspired to a lifelong

passion for learning, academic

excellence, devotion to Torah Judaism,

and a love for and commitment to Israel.

Our creative and committed educators nurture

each child in the fundamentals of Judaic and secular studies, Jewish middot (character traits), implementation of Torah values and pursuit of Torah knowledge. Our goal is to ensure our students realize their maximum potential, help foster their curiosity about the world and their Jewish heritage and engender in them a sense of commitment to the school and larger Jewish community.
