Keeping Music Live For You - in Your Community!

Our vision over the past 24 years still endures: we are keeping music LIVE for our community.

This is not a slogan. It is an unwavering commitment to providing a live concert experience. In order to support our vision and provide these services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals for support. We ask that you make a commitment to support our annual appeal by making a cash donation. Each year we need to raise $150,000 in donations and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to continue to provide great performances.

The Vancouver Island Symphony has built a foundation of support from season to season, with our loyal audience - however ticket sales (even if we are sold out!) - cover less than half of the costs to produce a symphony concert. The remainder of the funds come from sponsors, government investment through grants and donations from symphony lovers like you! We may not say it often enough, but please know that there is a need and it is great.
