The Kiwanis Club of Vancouver through its charitable fund the Vancouver Kiwanis Welfare Foundation is celebrating 100 years of service to Vancouver communities in 2019. Our focus is children and families facing financial and-or physical difficulties. Annual recipients include those requiring supplemental fee grants for residential or special needs camps. Past grants have included support for Aunt Leah's which assists exiting foster care young people, furnishing a teaching kitchen at Broadway Youth Resource Center, computers for the Genesis education program for drop-outs and youth at risk and various daycare and outreach programs for young mothers returning to finish high school. Our signature Anniversary Project is the MacLean Park Multi-Surface Play Space. Located in an East side neighbourhood, it is designed to provide a safe and fun area for children and young adults to play. We would welcome your support.
