Vancouver Opera In Schools is one of Canada's most extensive opera touring initiatives. Founded more than four decades ago, VOIS delivers professional opera presentations to schools all across British Columbia. Over the years, VOIS has presented inspiring productions like Stickboy and Singing Stories.
Co-commissioned and co-produced by Pacific Opera Victoria and Vancouver Opera, our 2023-2024 tour features The Flight of the Hummingbird, an opera about moral courage based on an indigenous parable from the Quechuan people of South America.
