DON'T LET THEM SUFFER

This holiday, have double the impact by helping suffering pets in Ukraine access urgently needed emergency veterinary services, food, and safety. 

The devastating war in Ukraine has left countless beloved pets lost, abandoned, or unable to escape with their guardians. Now, these frightened animals find themselves trapped in conflict zones throughout the country. Left to fend for themselves amid the destruction, explosions and chaos, they are at serious risk of disease, injuries, health issues, starvation and sadly death.

Veterinarians Without Borders/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières North America (VWB/VSF) is on the ground working with local animal welfare partners in the most dangerous and severely damaged regions (Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk and Kherson) to rescue suffering pets and provide urgently needed emergency veterinary care services, life-saving medications, food and shelter. But we can’t do it without your support.  

You can help save pets by giving a special gift to our Holiday Match. Thanks to our generous match partners, your gift will be matched* having DOUBLE the impact for animals in war-torn Ukraine:

• $28 feeds 5 dogs or cats for one month. 
• $52 covers a veterinary assessment of a rescued dog or cat. 
• $75 buys emergency food to feed 15 lost and abandoned pets for one month. 
• $105 provides transportation of two rescued animals to safety. 
• $143 helps with the cost of a surgery due to an injury sustained on the front lines.
• $187 purchases medications for a rescued animals including vaccinations, deworming, and pain relievers. 
• $175 covers a one week stay for a cat at the Patron Pet Center.  
• $210 covers a one week stay for a dog at the Patron Pet Center.
• $500 helps brave volunteers evacuate 200 companion animals from the front lines.  
• $750 buys emergency food to feed 150 lost and abandoned pets for one month. 
• $1,000 helps brave volunteers evacuate 400 scared animals from the front lines.  

That means $28 becomes $56 helping 10 dogs or cats; $105 becomes $210 helping 4 animals, $500 becomes $1,000 helping 400 animals and $750 becomes $1,500 to help 300 animals! 

The reality of the situation is critical with hundreds of thousands of animals who need emergency veterinary services to treat injuries, life-saving medications to fight off disease, evacuations from the front lines and loving care right now.
