Our organization is one of many Victim Service agencies operating in Ontario. Victim Services is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Our non-profit charity organization offers one-to-one confidential assistance in order to help victims in times of crisis. We work closely with other community agencies to ensure that each individual we serve has access to efficient and comprehensive services. We are unique in that we are the only agency in Quinte Region providing immediate on-site crisis, trauma, safety & support services to victims of crime and sudden tragedies.
Mission Statement
Victim Services, Hastings, Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington Counties offers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week short term crisis support, practical assistance, information and referral program to victims of crime and tragic circumstance.
Our Mandate
Victim Services provides immediate crisis response, intervention and prevention services which are responsive to the needs of individuals, families and communities affected by crime and sudden tragedies. Specialized service delivery to domestic violence, sexual assault, criminal harassment, human trafficking, homicide, Robbery and Elder Abuse.
