Our Mission
Victim Services of Waterloo Region provides immediate crisis intervention, emotional support and community referrals to individuals affected by crime and/or tragic circumstance.
About VICTIM SERVICES OF WATERLOO REGION
24 hours a day/7 days a week, our Crisis Responders are available to provide immediate assistance to victims of crime and tragic circumstance at the scene of an emergency, or to provide telephone intervention. Our services include emotional and practical support (short term assistance, information/resources, referrals to community-based services, public education, etc). Our website includes a large number of fact sheets and resources. We also host the following programs:
- Crisis Response Program
- M.T.S. Mobile Tracking System
- Public Education
- Putting the Pieces Back Together (Break and Enter)
- Victim Quick Response Program + (financial assistance)
