The Victoria County SPCA is a registered charity sheltering, fostering & re-homing abused, abandoned and discarded pets since 1984. Hundreds of animals, including cats, dogs and even a few bunnies, have relied on the shelter since it opened in 1984.
We serve as a resource to our community as we help to reduce the population of stray cats and dogs. We also help to reunite animals with their owners, Trap-Neuter-Release, provide education, and thanks to the CanFel Foundation, The Kindness Club Foundation and The Grand Falls Veterinary Clinic, we also have a low-income spay neuter assistance program.
2019 was quite a year. After suffering an unprecedented flood in April, we were very happy to be back open for intakes in July. A big thank you to all the donors, volunteers and trades people who came to our rescue!
We would take this opportunity to thank our MLA, Andrew Harvey who was very helpful in getting us open again.
We also would like to acknowledge the Government of New Brunswick and EMO for their assistance.
