Since 2016, Victoria Festival of Authors has been the largest celebration of books and book lovers on Vancouver Island. Our annual five-day festival includes readings, panels, workshops, and masterclasses, as well as events that showcase the fusion of literature with other art forms, such as dance, music and visual arts.
Artistic achievement, creative innovation and a diversity of voices drive our mandate. We embrace poets, fiction and creative non-fiction writers, and other storytellers who come from a broad spectrum of communities and from all levels of their writing careers.
